Let's face it, a lot of us look around our home and make a mental note of what needs doing, some may even write it down to come back to at a later date. Most people don't end up forgetting about what needs doing because:

B. They want to do it themselves but never get around to doing it.

If you are anything like one of my friends, they have never been a keen gardener, and most of the time houses that they have owned haven't had that 'wow factor' outside. So I decided that 15 years ago I would get some colleagues around to help them out. We completely transfomed the garden, putting down decking, fencing around the paremeter, and fixing them up with a nice outhouse that comes in handy during summer nights.
