Historic Home Restoration in The Heights, Houston
The Heights is one of Houston’s oldest neighborhoods, full of Victorian homes, Craftsman bungalows and cottages that deserve careful work. Nuvo Builders restores historic homes across The Heights, keeping their original character while making them comfortable and practical for modern life.
Restoration is where we started. Since 1998, Houston Heights resident David Wennagel has renovated historic properties in Houston, first as owner of Pinnacle Development, which specialized in historic home restoration in the Heights, and since 2011 as owner of Nuvo Builders. That experience means we know how to repair and preserve original details rather than simply replacing them.

If your home is in one of the Houston Heights historic districts, changes to the outside of the house usually need a Certificate of Appropriateness from the City of Houston before work begins. We’ll plan your project with that in mind from the start. Browse our portfolio to see examples of our work.
